How Trek labels its sizes
The captured Domane, Checkpoint and Checkmate charts pair letter sizes with nominal centimeter labels on some rows. Marlin, FX and Verve use letter labels. Keep the label attached to its model; a centimeter label does not describe all of the frame’s geometry.
The Madone Gen 8 FAQ explains that generation’s move from numeric to letter sizing and the consolidation of some former sizes. It does not establish a conversion for every Trek model or year.

Between two Trek sizes
Keep both height matches while you compare saddle-height limits, standover clearance and riding position. Follow the between-bike-sizes checks before choosing.
Stack is the vertical distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube; reach is the horizontal distance. Standover measures the bike, so it does not replace a published rider-inseam recommendation.
