Compare Bike Geometry
Choose the bikes and sizes you want to compare. Check their frame dimensions beside each other, then save the selection as a link or print the table and stack/reach overlay.
Start with the preset Giant TCR comparison below. These captures cover named road, mountain and gravel models, not every generation of a family. Check the version, market and configuration beside each selection.
For height and inseam recommendations, see the road, mountain and gravel size charts.

Geometry lengths, calculated differences (Δ) and the scaled overlay use mm; angles use degrees. Columns converted from cm identify the source unit. Rider height ranges stay in cm. A missing dimension stays “Not published”; a difference needs both values. Height ranges only appear for an exact model, version and market match.
What stack and reach mean
Stack is the vertical distance from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top of the head tube. Reach is the horizontal distance between the same two points. The overlay places every frame at the same bottom bracket, using the same scale for both axes.
Higher stack puts that frame reference point higher; longer reach puts it farther forward. Neither measurement locates your hands. Compare the supplied stem, bars and permitted spacers before transferring a riding position.
Why size labels differ
A letter or nominal centimeter size does not specify stack, reach or seat tube length across brands. Seat tubes can be measured to the top of the tube or to a tube junction. The table names the measuring convention only where the source states or diagrams it.
Compare the actual dimensions for the exact version. The Tarmac and Stumpjumper examples use build- and version-specific geometry; their family-level sizing captures cannot establish a height match for those builds.
Frame geometry has limits
This comparison describes frames, not a complete cockpit or a fit prescription. Standover also depends on the brand’s measurement point and the bike’s tires. Check saddle-height limits, clearance and access to the controls on the assembled bike.
Geometry settings matter: Giant Trance X lists LOW, MID and HIGH separately; the captured Revolt and Devote gravel dimensions use SHORT. Missing dimensions display as “Not published”; an unstated seat-tube convention displays as “Not stated.” A missing height join means the sizing source does not identify this exact build and version.
Use the between-sizes checks for overlapping height recommendations, or take the used bike checklist to a viewing. Read the sources and methodology before applying a current example to an older bike.
